Copyright & Takedown Policy
Last Updated: June 27, 2026
Our position
DIU BBA Archive respects the intellectual property rights of authors, faculty, and publishers. We are a student-maintained academic archive — not an official Daffodil International University channel — and we do not claim ownership of exam papers, lecture slides, textbooks, or other third-party works.
Content is uploaded by students and volunteers. We do not verify ownership at upload time; instead we rely on the uploader's warranty below and on prompt removal when a rights holder tells us about a problem. If you own material on this site and did not authorise its use, we want to hear from you.
What we host
- Past exam question papers, tagged by course, semester, batch, and exam type.
- Class notes, answer scripts, and study material contributed by students.
- Lecture slides and other files students upload for personal study.
- Class and exam routines, faculty listings, and other academic reference data.
We do not knowingly host pirated books, paid course packs, or content that has been clearly marked as confidential. If you find such material, please report it using the process below.
Uploader responsibility
By uploading a file you confirm that you have the right to share it, or that the rights holder has given permission. You also grant DIU BBA Archive a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, display, and machine-process the file (including OCR text extraction) so it can be shown to other students.
Do not upload material you purchased, material marked confidential, or material you have been asked not to redistribute. See our Terms of Service for the full upload terms.
How to report copyright infringement
Send a notice to bbaarchive.diu@gmail.com with the subject line “Copyright takedown request”. To let us act quickly, include all of the following:
- Your full name, postal address, telephone number, and email address.
- A description of the copyrighted work you believe is being infringed.
- The exact URL(s) on this site where the material appears.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorised to act on the owner's behalf.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
This is a DMCA-style notice. If you are outside the United States, the same information helps us process your request under applicable local law.
What happens after a report
- We acknowledge your notice, normally within We aim to reply within 2–5 business days..
- We review the claim and the identified URL(s).
- If the claim is valid, we remove or disable access to the material promptly.
- We notify the uploader where we can, and record the removal.
- If the claim is unclear, we may ask for clarification before acting.
We may remove content immediately and without prior notice where the material is clearly infringing or where we are legally required to do so.
Counter-notice
If you uploaded material that was removed and you believe the removal was a mistake — for example, because you own the work or have permission — email the same address with your name, contact details, the removed URL, and an explanation of your rights. We may restore the material if the circumstances support it and the reporting party does not pursue the claim.
Repeat infringers
Accounts that repeatedly upload infringing material may have uploads restricted, be suspended, or be terminated. We keep a record of substantiated takedown notices for this purpose.
Misuse of this process
Please do not use this process to remove content you do not own or to harass contributors. Claims made in bad faith may be rejected, and we may take appropriate action where a knowingly false notice causes harm.
